Website Reveal: Refined Gifting

We were both set up at a vendor event….

We were both set up at a vendor event, sharing our businesses and our passions with those who would walk through the doors and by our tables. Feeling confined to my table for majority of the time, I didn’t really have the opportunity to go walk about, myself, and meet the others that were in attendance. That is, until the very end as everyone started to pack up. As I walked up to Lauren’s table, I was sucked in by her display of different gifts and curated gift baskets that she had covering her table. As was everyone else, I noticed, throughout the morning. But what else caught my eye was her beautiful, professional logo that was showcased on her tablecloth. [It’s a designer thing] Seeing this had me thinking to myself that she had no need for my services, so I didn’t even really initiate conversation about my own business. She obviously already had a great designer that she had been working with. But she DID ask me [like many others had around this same time period] if I also offered website design services. I responded with [once again] “not at this time, but I would like to some day” and we went on our way.

A couple of months later, I decided that it was time to step up to the plate and take a stab at this website designing thing. Around that same time, Lauren and I connected again. This time we scheduled a meeting and sat down together and discussed what I could do for her and her current website. She had the bones there already. She just needed some assistance with extending it out to it’s true potential and to work just as she would like it to for the ease and growth of her business.

So we got to it.

I was able to spruce up the design of her website to fit her brand and that beautiful logo all the more. We also flipped the focus of the website from being a touch of a couple of different businesses and a passion to help it reach it’s full potential. Now the website is focused on Refined Gifting and her online shop. But we didn’t leave out her heart and her passion, blogging. Her blog is now referred to the “Refined Heart Living Blog” and is a space where she can share, write and encourage her readers, clients and friends through all walks of life.
