Hello!
I am Britani Ward,
the owner and graphic designer at DePikt Design LLC. I have been designing for several years just as a hobby. I would do projects for myself, my church and my family and friends just because I love to create new, beautiful and creative things any way that I can. As I continued to do so, word got out about what I can and have done and this hobby of mine turned into a business. DePikt Design was officially established in 2017. My business is now on a platform in which I can reach out and help more people with their digital design needs and I could not be more excited!
As I continue to design, learn, grow and work with many different kinds of clients, I have fallen deeply in love with helping new businesses, entrepreneurs, non-profit organizations and ministries develop their visual brand. There is just something about developing a relationship with the many different leaders and coming along side them on their journey to make a difference that excites me!
When I get to work with these leaders, I take advantage of the opportunity to get to know them on a personal level. This allows me to see their vision for their brand and help their visions become reality.
Clients benefit from working with me at DePikt Design since I am their one point of contact through the entire process and beyond! There is never a question as to who to contact for each aspect of the process and journey to start and maintain your business or organization.
On a more personal note…
I was born and raised in the small, but growing, town of Lima, Ohio.
I had a small ceremony in our home church where I married my first boyfriend and childhood friend in 2005.
My pride and joy is my one and only bio son who was born in 2011. He keeps us on our toes with his witty humor, huge heart and his impressive brains.
Coffee and chocolate are my friends. They are always there for me. And sometimes I combine the joy of the two and stop at our local coffee shop for Mocha (with an extra shot of espresso, of course!).
We also have several other children who are forever a part of our family, although they may not live with us any longer. We have been a foster family for a few years now and have given a couple of newborns the strong start that they have needed. We also had the opportunity to be a part of a few older children’s lives and each one has been a blessing to our family.
Having the ability to stay “home” with my children is a huge passion of mine. With the birth of my son, I chose to leave my job of 8 years at a daycare to stay at home with him. That meant doing everything I could to make ends meet while doing so. So I babysat in my home, did some direct sales, sold crafts and designs online, picked up a custodian job and another part time job that allowed me to bring my children along with me. It takes a lot of creativity and determination, but we make it work! This is also another motivation for DePikt Design! This passion allows me to continue to be there for those who need me the most.
